Our story
We started because one size never fit all.
Carpe Diem Education Services was founded by tutors and parents who saw bright children shrink in classrooms that couldn't adapt to them. We built a different kind of support — warm, personal, and centred on the learner.

Years of experience
Our team brings together qualified teachers, learning specialists, and homeschool mentors with decades of combined classroom and one-to-one experience.
Friendly & interactive
We believe the best learning happens when a child feels safe to ask, explore, and even get things wrong. Every session is a conversation, not a lecture.
Learner-centred
No two programmes are identical. We design around your child's interests, strengths, and the goals that matter to your family.

Andrew Banda
Andrew Banda leads Carpe Diem Education Services with a deep passion for teaching and a belief that every child can thrive when learning is personal. He is an exceptional teacher who has spent his career helping students grow in confidence, curiosity, and character.
Under his guidance, Carpe Diem has become a warm, learner-centred space where children who felt out of place elsewhere finally feel understood — and where families find a true partner in education.
“I believe that every learner has the potential to achieve greatness with the right support. I am a firm believer in true education that equips a child for life.”
Tozeyana Chomba
Tozeyana Chomba is an excellent teacher whose philosophy is simple: nothing is impossible. To him, that means no learner can fail — every child has their own way of understanding, and the role of the teacher is to unlock what once seemed impossible and make it feel easy.
As CEO, he shapes the heart of Carpe Diem's approach: patient, personalised teaching that meets each learner where they are and builds confidence that lasts.

Nachinyama Halwiindi
Nachinyama Halwiindi is the warm, organised heartbeat of Carpe Diem Education Services. Passionate and zealous about every learner's success, she makes sure families feel welcomed, heard, and guided from the very first conversation.
With the perfect mix of clear communication and genuine care, she listens carefully and gives the right advice — whether you are exploring homeschooling, booking tuition, or simply need someone to point you in the right direction.
The people behind Carpe Diem
Our tutors and mentors work side by side with every family — friendly, qualified, and committed to helping each learner thrive.
